I made my first account in 2004 and back then it seemed the easiest way to show my craapy drawings and watch other people's work.

What does your username have to do with you? Is it a combination of your favorite things, or a character of yours?
I use this name everywhere online! BD At first it was Hotaru(from Sailor Moon... Yeah, I know, chracter name = so lame) but somehow my fandom friends just started to call me H0ttis and the Hotsu. Now it's kinda part of my identity.

What is your current icon of?
It's Eiji from my own drawing and it's pretty ugly but I'm just too lazy to make something better. :<

I'm more a fan of the actual works than the artists, but...

~Jarezed - Draws amazingly pretty girls! I hate it how people usually draw either skinny, anorexic-looking women or then clearly over-sized(not a fan of inflation, sorry) ones, but he makes them just a bit chubby and healthy! Boobs and bellies he draws are love. :3 Despite the fact he draws lots of cute girls he's very good at manly stuff too, especially mecha.

~hawttu - Mostly girls, too. This gallery isn't that safe for work and there's mainly World of Warcraft fan art. Very soft and curvy figures. She clearly has her own style you can recognize easily and the coloring is AMAZINGLY detailed and soft.

~heerosferret - Very unique style and funny works! Contains lots of Pokemon fan art with the coolest characters like Jun, Palmer, Flint, Volkner and so on... If you're a fan of Sinnoh(especially male characters) and electric type Pokemons this is definitely worth of checking out!

Umm... I really can't answer to this one.

Do you comment, fave, or both?
I'm an asshole so usually I just fave. I don't like to leave comments like "OMG SO KAWAII!!!111!" but if there's a work that REALLY makes me think about stuff and I'm ready to write constructive criticism I might comment too.

Anime fan art.

Nope.

Apparently it is my Jun dakimakura. Well, I kind of like it even myself.

What's your favorite submission in your favorites gallery?
That would propably be Syd Barrett by ~artistic-engine - [link] . I don't know what it is that makes this just too amazing for words, it just kind of catches Barrett's whole personality so well. The mood and atmosphere are perfect. Also, I give my respect to the artist who made this with acrylic and colored pencil this well. Beautiful.

What are the things you wish you could draw better?
HANDS AND FINGERS! And hair, different kind of poses, female bodies... Ohh what the hell, I need practice pretty much at everything, but that's what makes drawing so cool, right? You can never become perfect and there's always something you could do better. Otherwise it would be just boring.

How many hours a day do you spend on DA?
Not very much. I try to visit here at least once a day but sometimes I forget the whole site.

Are you a fast, slow, or medium typer?
I'm the fast typer with a good amount of typos. If you've been an active IRC user over three years you'll become pretty fast at typing, yes.

What is the most annoying thing people ask you?
Like here in dA, I suppose? People usually don't ask me stuff but I don't really like it when someone asks me to draw something I don't have interest in. Also, it's not exactly a question but I hate it when people are like "I'm suck at drawing, how can you be that good?" when I'm even NOT that good and the only answer is PRACTICE DRAWING BY DRAWING AND DRAWING AND DRAWING and you get the idea.

What is the most annoying comment you get?
I don't get that much comments but let's say I appreacite it more when you put some efford into the comment and tell WHY you like/don't like the work and give some construcive criticism. It's much more interesting to actually answer to that kind of comment when there's something more than just "cool ".

What inspires you?
Pretty much everything like music, movies, good fan fiction and most of all my own imagination. It's full of ~*CRACK*~.

Do you use any traditional media?
YES AND OH BOY DO I LOVE IT
Umm I mean, I love to draw with a pencil and finish the drawing with colored pencils, copics etc. Owning a drawing tablet is cool and I like using Photoshop too but I still haven't abandoned the traditional way. Besides, how can you not draw your crappy sketches while you're bored at school or in train etc?

Do you associate people online with their icons?
Yup, prefer the visual way much better. It's kind of hard to remember every person's name!

Have you ever suggested a Daily Deviation?
I haven't.

Everyone has considered leaving DA once or twice. Have you? Why?
I have when I was all angsty since BAAAAAWWW my works sucked and I didn't understand that I won't become any better if I won't just keep trying. The second reason was that this site is pretty horrible as a whole and I don't get it why you can submit some pig disgusting 3D vagina as "art"(yeah sure) but 2D one is "judgeable"...?!
